The touch screen isn't working on my payment terminal

If the touch screen on your Ingenico iSC 250 payment terminal is not working or is registering input in the wrong areas, you might need to recalibrate it.

  1. In Ascend, select the Options icon.
  2. Select Payment Processing > Pinpad Setup.
  3. In Pinpad setup, select the Calibrate icon.

The Calibrating Device window opens and your Ingenico terminal will scroll through several windows for about a minute. Then, the Ingenico terminal will restart and you'll be all set!

Note: Re-calibrating your Ingenico terminal can fix many problems, including issues where it won't accept a firmware update.
