Meet Lead Lists

As a retailer, you know how important it is to connect with your customers and offer them the best products and services. But how do you find the right customers to reach out to? How do you know who is ready to buy, who needs a reminder, or who might be interested in something new?

That's where Ascend’s Lead Lists come in. With Lead Lists, you gain access to critical insights that empower your team to connect more with your customers and increase sales.

The best part? There’s no extra work to unlock the full potential of the sales and inventory data you’re already collecting. Ascend not only processes your data for you but also automatically generates a list of high-quality leads.

Before you get started

It's important to remember that this data should be used responsibly and in compliance with all applicable local and international laws, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and data privacy acts which may be enacted in your state.

Important guidelines

  • Ask for permission for electronic marketing: Secure and record clear and explicit consent from your customers before marketing electronically. In many places, this is required by law. A best practice is to ask customers if they would like to receive both marketing emails and marketing text messages from your store.
  • Respect rights: Honor your customers' rights to stop communications; access, correct, delete, and transfer their data; and object to certain uses of their data.
  • Limit data use: Use the data solely for its consented purpose and retain it only for a reasonable amount of time.
  • Secure your data: Implement security measures to protect the data against unauthorized or unlawful processing, as well as accidental loss, destruction, or damage.
  • Be considerate: Don’t call or text people at odd hours. Many countries have laws that limit how and when electronic marketing can be conducted.
