Add a Tax Exception Reason

  1. From the Ascend Desktop, select the View menu > Customer Tax Exceptions.

  2. On the toolbar, click Add.

  3. In the Description field, enter a meaningful explanation of the exception reason (e.g. Non-profit agency).
  4. Check Requires Tax ID if a tax ID must be provided.
  5. Leave Hidden unchecked to activate the exception reason.
  6. Click Save.
