An End Of Bike SKU is used to organize sales receipts.
Add the SKU in Ascend
1. Navigate to Database Explorer > Products OR from the Ascend Desktop, click the Products tile
2. Click the green “+” button on the top left OR on the toolbar, click Add
a. Description: End Of Bike
b. UPC: END OF BIKE
c. SKU: END OF BIKE
d. Keyword: End Of Bike
e. Manufacturer’s Part Number: END OF BIKE
f. Estimated Cost: $0.00
3. Check the Non-Inventory box under Properties on the top right
4. Click Save
Using the SKU
- When checking out a customer that has purchased a bike, the bike should be the first line of the sale.
- Parts and accessories to be installed on the bike should follow the bike.
- The End Of Bike SKU should follow the last item to be installed on the bike.
- Parts and accessories that are not being installed on the bike follow the End Of Bike SKU.
