eCommerce - Send Inventory & Pricing Information to Shopify

After you have set up your Ascend and Shopify Integration and you have verified your products between Ascend and Shopify match, your inventory and pricing information will begin uploading from Ascend to Shopify.

Scheduling Shopify Inventory & Pricing Feed

Good news! You do not need to schedule a thing. Ascend and Shopify are set up for two different updates by default, Delta and Bulk.

Delta Syncs

The Delta Syncs is the automatic, incremental update that happens between Ascend and Shopify. Inventory changes in Ascend are synced to Shopify every 15 minutes.

Only products with inventory changes in the last 15 minutes are included in the Delta Update.

Bulk Uploads

The Bulk Uploads is an automated process that runs nightly at 12:05am. This is a full sync of all inventory and pricing data from Ascend to Shopify.

 

When will inventory show in Shopify after it is Received in Ascend?

If a product is received in Ascend and:

  • The SKU matches exactly (case-sensitive) with a product in Shopify.
  • The product is Active in Shopify.
  • The location is correctly integrated between Ascend and Shopify.

The inventory update should reflect in Shopify within 15-30 minutes via the Delta Update.

Can I manually push a Bulk Upload?

Yes, however, this is not recommended for frequent use due to potential API rate limits and performance concerns. If you are experiencing issues with products syncing between Ascend and Shopify, please contact the Ascend Support team.

  1. Log into Ascend HQ.
  2. Settings > Integrations > Shopify Integration.
  3. Click Refresh button on the far right side.

  1. You will receive a confirmation message.
