You can now process Ascend Pay same day voids through the Ascend client app.
Starting with version 25.4, you can easily void same day Ascend Pay payments right from the Ascend client app.
Process a Void
The transaction must be open in order to process the void through the Ascend client (version 25.4 or higher). To get started:
- Open the transaction (Layaway, Work Order, or same day Sale).
- From the Ascend desktop click View > Layaways, Work Orders, or Sales.
- From within the transaction screen, single click on the Ascend Pay payment that you'd like to void.
- Click Remove in the payments toolbar or Right-click on the payment and select Remove.
- Click Yes to Continue with Void prompt.
- When the void is complete you will receive a prompt. Click OK to clear the prompt.
- The Voided Ascend Pay payment will display in Red.
