Ascend Cloud - Navigating the Customer Transactions View

Customer Transactions View

If a Customer has any open transactions, you'll be taken to the Customer Transactions screen to view or create a new transaction. If you don't need to access an open transaction, simply click New Transaction near the top right corner.

To access an open transaction, you can double click the line or single click to highlight the line and then click View Transaction.

Transaction Grid

The Transaction Grid gives you an overview of the customer's transactions, including Quotes, Work Orders, Layaways, and Finished Sales. Each type of transaction is marked with a specific icon.

Transaction Type

Quote                            Work Order                         Layaway                          Finished Sale

                                                                  

Barcode

Barcode associated with the transaction. There is a Quick Copy button next to each Barcode.

Date Created

Transaction Created Date.

Subtotal

Transaction amount before Tax, Shipping, and Payments.

Payments

Any payments applied to the transaction.

Balance

Amount remaining on the transaction.

Transaction Summary

Single click on the transaction line and the Transaction Summary will appear on the right-hand side.

The following information is displayed in the Transaction Summary

Balance: The remaining amount on the transaction, listed under the transaction type.

Items - Total number of items in the transaction.

Sub Total - The amount before tax, shipping, and payments.

Customer Information - Includes the customer's name, phone number, and email.

View Transaction - Opens the selected transaction (currently only Quotes).

New Transaction - Starts a new transaction (currently only Quotes).

Reprint Receipt - This feature is still under development

Go Back - Returns you to the Customer Search / Create page
