The PIN Login feature in Ascend HQ makes it easier to log in quickly and securely. Set a Personal Identification Number (PIN) between 4 and 30 characters for faster access — ideal for users who frequently log in from trusted devices. 

Setting up User PINs

PINs are setup when the user is created through User Management. The PIN is the same password that the user is using to access the Ascend client.

Note: PINs have a four character requirement.

When Can You Use PIN Login?

1. If your dealership has enabled the PIN Login feature.
2. If you've logged in once using your Ascend HQ Username and Password within the last 24 hours.
3. On devices that are registered and marked as trusted through Device Registration.

Accessing Ascend HQ Using PIN Login

When you've met the three items listed above, below is how your Ascend HQ login screen will appear, allowing you to use PIN Login.

The PIN is the same password that the user is using to access the Ascend client.
