Ascend HQ - Handling Device Registration Requests

Let's walk through registering you device for secure use outside of your network.

Send Registration Request

  1. Log into Ascend HQ.
  2. The dropdown of locations you have access to will be displayed, select the location that you want to access.
  3.  Once you select a location, the system will check if your device is registered.
    1. Note: If your device is not registered for the location, you'll be prompted to request registration.
  4. Click Send a Registration Request to request access.

  1. Once the request is sent, and email is sent to the Admin/Manager to approve the Device Registration Request.
    1. Note: Permission required to grant approval: Device Management.

  1. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email.

  1. Retry Login after Approval.

Approve or Deny Device Registration Requests

From within Ascend HQ > Devices > Device Management, click the Requests tab.

Click Approve or Deny.

Managing Devices

Approved Devices

Click the Approved tab to view all Approved Devices.

Revoke Devices

  1. From the Approved tab find the Approved Device that you'd like to Revoke.
  2. Click Revoke.
  3. This will block the device from accessing Ascend HQ until re-approved.

Denied Devices

From the Denied tab you can see any devices that have been Revoked.

Locked Devices

A list of potential hackers using the wrong email address and passwords to attempt to login into your Ascend HQ, with multiple attempts.
