Reconnecting your EA660 Inventory Scanner

Occasionally, your EA660 may loose connection to your WiFi network and Ascend. There is a quick way for your to reconnect it through your Ascend database.

  1. From the Ascend desktop click the Inventory Center tile.

  1. Under Open Existing Event select Label Audit.
  2. Click Open
  3. This will open the Inventory Event and allow you to access the Mobile Device Management.
  4. Click on the QR code under Mobile Device Management.
  5. The QR code will display.

  1. On the EA660 navigate to the Utilities tile.
  2. Click Utilities.

  1. Click Network.
  2. Click Scan QR code.
  3. Using the blue buttons on the side of the scanner, scan the QR code on the computer screen.
  4. If the scanner reconnects to your network & Ascend the QR code prompt will turn green and place a green checkmark in the middle of the QR code.

  1. If the scanner fails to connect, you can also try reentering your WiFi network into to Mobile Device Management under the WiFi icon.
    1. If you are still not able to connect the scanner, reach out to your installer to assistance.
