Configuration - Add a Tax Exception Reason

  1. From the Ascend Desktop, select the View menu > Customer Tax Exceptions.
  2. On the toolbar, click Add.
  1. In the Description field, enter a meaningful explanation of the exception reason (e.g. Non-profit agency).
  2. Check Requires Tax ID if a tax ID must be provided.
  3. Leave Hidden unchecked to activate the exception reason.
  4. Click Save.
