Ascend HQ Sales Team Analysis metrics

The Sales Team Analysis report allows managers to assess employees’ sales performance.

This report replaces the AOR Customer Data Capture report (AOR was retired on April 1, 2023) and portions of the Analytics Teams page.

Note: Sales with no sales items (e.g. gift card/gift certificate sales) are excluded from calculations.

Sales Person

The user selected in the Sales Person dropdown on the transaction.

Customer Data Capture

Note: Metrics on this report may not use the same calculations as the Customer Data Capture report on Ascend Online Reports (AOR).

Customer

#: Total number of transactions with a customer associated which were finished (closed) in the selected date range.

%: Percent of total transactions for the store with a customer associated which were finished (closed) in the selected date range.

Email

#: Total number of transactions with a customer associated who has an email address entered which were finished (closed) in the selected date range.

%: Percent of total transactions for the store with a customer associated who has an email address entered which were finished (closed) in the selected date range.

Mobile

#: Total number of transactions with a customer associated who has a telephone number entered and selected as Mobile which were finished (closed) in the selected date range.

%: Percent of total transactions for the store with a customer associated who has a telephone number entered and selected as Mobile which were finished (closed) in the selected date range.

Address

#: Total number of transactions with a customer associated who has a billing address entered which were finished (closed) in the selected date range.

%: Percent of total transactions for the store with a customer associated who has a billing address entered which were finished (closed) in the selected date range.

Gender

#: Total number of transactions with a customer associated who has a Gender selected (FemaleMale, or Other) which were finished (closed) in the selected date range.

%: Percent of total transactions for the store with a customer associated who has a Gender selected (FemaleMale, or Other) which were finished (closed) in the selected date range.

Birthday

#: Total number of transactions with a customer associated who has a birthdate entered which were finished (closed) in the selected date range.

%: Percent of total transactions for the store with a customer associated who has a birthdate entered which were finished (closed) in the selected date range.

Communications

#: Total number of transactions with a customer associated who have Include in Communications checked which were finished (closed) in the selected date range.

%: Percent of total transactions for the store with a customer associated who have Include in Communications checked which were finished (closed) in the selected date range.

Quotes

Note: This data is only included when all of your locations have updated to the July 2019 version of Ascend.

#: Total number of Quotes which were created in the selected date range and which have not been converted to a sale.

$: Total value (sales dollars, excluding tax) of Quotes which were created in the selected date range and which have not been converted to a sale.

Layaways

Note: This data is only included when all of your locations have updated to the July 2019 version of Ascend.

#: Total number of incomplete transactions (excluding Work Orders) which were created in the selected date range and which have not been converted to a sale.

$: Total value (sales dollars, excluding tax) of incomplete transactions (excluding Work Orders) which were created in the selected date range and which have not been converted to a sale.

Completed Sales

#: Total number of transactions which were finished (closed) in the selected date range.

Total $: Total value (sales dollars, excluding tax) of transactions which were finished (closed) in the selected date range.

Avg $Total $ divided by #.

ProfitTotal $ minus COGS (cost of goods).

MarginProfit divided by #.

UPT: Units per transaction; total quantity of sales items on transactions which were finished (closed) in the selected date range divided by #.

Sales/HourTotal $ divided by total hours worked (as recorded in Ascend’s Time Clock).
Note: This number will differ slightly from Sales per hour in RPM because sales team analysis excludes the hours of technicians and employees who have not created a transaction during the day.

Sales Breakdown

Primary category (Bikes)

Bikes: Total value (sales dollars, excluding tax) of sales items which were finished (closed) in the selected date range and which are assigned to a Bikes category (i.e. top parent category contains Bikes or Bicycles).

#: Total quantity of sales items which were finished (closed) in the selected date range and which are assigned to a Bikes category (i.e. top parent category contains Bikes or Bicycles).

Avg $Bikes divided by #.

Add-on $: Total value (sales dollars, excluding tax) of sales items which were finished (closed) in the selected date range, which are not assigned to a Bikes category (i.e. top parent category contains Bikes or Bicycles), which are not assigned to a serialized category, and which are not assigned to a Labor category (i.e. top parent category contains Labor or Labour).

Add-on #: Total quantity of sales items which were finished (closed) in the selected date range, which are not assigned to a Bikes category (i.e. top parent category contains Bikes or Bicycles), which are not assigned to a serialized category, and which are not assigned to a Labor category (i.e. top parent category contains Labor or Labour).

% of Total: Percent of total transactions for the store which were finished (closed) in the selected date range and which are assigned to a Bikes category (i.e. top parent category contains Bikes or Bicycles).
