Supported Devices
Ascend supports the EA520 and EA660 devices. If you have additional questions about support devices and hardware requirements, check out our article, Hardware - Requirements.
Connect the Inventory Scanner
Unless there is a change in your network, you shouldn't have to reconnect the inventory scanner each time. If using a new inventory scanner, you will need to connect it.
- From within in the Inventory Event navigate to Mobile Device Management.

- Click the Wi-Fi Symbol.

- In the Ascend Agent Information enter:
- Wi-Fi Network: Enter the name of your Wi-Fi network.
- Wi-Fi Password: Enter the password of your Wi-Fi network.
- Click Save.

- Under Mobile Device Management click the QR code.

- The AscendScan QR Code prompt will display.

- Using the blue buttons on the side of the scanner (or blue trigger on the grip), scan the QR Code on the computer screen.
- If the scanner connects to your Network the AscendScan QR Code prompt will turn green and place a green checkmark in the middle of the QR code.
If you have multiple scanners to connect, press Generate New on the AscendScan QR Code prompt to generate a new QR code to connect that device to your Wi-Fi network.
- If the scanner fails to connect, you can also try reentering your Wi-Fi network into to Mobile Device Management by clicking the Wi-Fi icon.
