Recategorizing products can be done in bulk using the Link function in Ascend.

Recategorize Products in Bulk Using Link

1. From the Ascend desktop > Database Explorer tile or View > Products.
2. Expand Products and drill down to the Category you'd like to recategorize product(s) from.

3. Select the product(s) you'd like to recategorize. 
   1. Shift + click to select multiple adjacent products.
   2. Ctrl + click to select multiple, non-adjacent products.
4. Click Link in the toolbar.

5. Select the new category.

6. Click Select.

7. After clicking Select, Ascend will display the products you are recategorizing while it completes the task. 
   1. Note: Depending on the number of products you are recategorizing, it will take Ascend a little bit of time to complete the recategorization on the products.

8. If you are in a Parent Category recategorizing, the products will reappear with their new category. If you are recategorizing products to a totally different Parent Category, the products will disappear from the current Category once the recategorizing is complete.
